From childhood, Jungsug was captivated by iron’s surreal strength, cold texture, and weight. As he worked with steel,he discovered its hidden beauty through vibrant sparks and the fluidity of colour. The grinding process revealed iron’s dual nature—both resilient and artistic.

Through Steel

To speak of human nature is to speak through material.
Steel becomes the medium through which I reflect on who I was, who I am, and who I am becoming.
Through the harmony of steel and colour, my work becomes a process of self-discovery.
